Ancient Rome Artifacts

The ancient Rome civilization will forever be one of the most popular civilizations. The ancient Rome mirror, gambling dice, and the hook are three artifacts that are most commonly known for increasing the value of the civilization. “Mirrors were quite important because cleanliness and grooming were highly valued in empire.” The mirror was used to insure you are well groomed and is still used for that main purpose today. The gambling dice was a significant artifact that lost of the civilization used. “Dice were carried all across the Roman Empire by travelling, after a long hard day soldiers of toil and misery soldiers would congregate rowdily  around fires and in taverns, drinking and playing games of chance with dice.” Dice had many different purposes, they could take up free time used for games or used to relive stress of soldiers who were in war. Ancient Rome hooks were probably the most important piece of artifact the civilization had. “Hooks in ancient Rome were used for many purposes including tools, fishing, medical instruments, and even weapons. The Ancient Romans made their hooks out of bronze or a mix of different metals. Each hook was shaped and molded into a sharp or blunt hook depending on its purpose.” As you have read you can see that the Ancient Rome civilization had lots of popular and well known artifacts that are used in today’s world.
